Ash and beech
When working with wood I am most drawn to small, scrappy and spiky forms. These playful, child-sized objects become thinking pieces for navigating ideas around domesticity and comfort, as well as the contradictory sharpness requisite for woodworking versus the solemn softness of woodland spaces. I’m curious to explore how the age-old relationship between woodlands and fairytales can be expressed in furniture objects.
